Comment:
I've had this sketch laying around for god knows how long and decided, "Hey, why not piddle in Photoshop instead of doing homework?" So most of Saturday afternoon and night I experimented with a new painting style. Brush settings are an amazing thing once you figure out what half of them do. Would have been done with this yesterday if I wasn't being lazy and not wanting to finish minor details. Lots of errors all over, but I love it anyway meh.

The character is a sort of harpy that serves a dragon god. Khorbis is a brutal little thing, always aiming to impress his master with bloodshed. He's probably sitting there scheming. Just look at him.... scheming. Evil little ball of feathers.

Ahhhh so that's what you were working on :excited:

The colors overall are gorgeous. I LOVE the sunset and fiery appearance of the clouds! The gold, orange and yellow really pop, yet complement the rich purple shadows of the sky.

The lighting on the back side of the wing, going up towards the wing's talon was also a nice touch to keep the mood of the sky's fading light.

Also loving the delicate hairs on the character's head.
